Manis Investigations, Inc. (the company) is a full service
executive protection, corporate investigative, and consulting
agency. Based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the company is licensed
to conduct investigations throughout the state. Through regularly
employed contract associates the company is licensed to conduct
protection and investigative operations throughout the United
States.
The
company was instituted in July 1994 and since that date investigations
and/or protection services have been conducted by the company
in all fifty states. The company has Dun number 96-632-4684.
Wayne F. Manis is the owner and president. He formerly served
as a Special Agent with the F.B.I. and prior to that was a United
States Marine Corps officer in charge of the Criminal Investigative
Division, Forced Troops, Fleet Marine Force, Pacific. Wayne
holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology/Criminology and is a graduate
of the F.B.I. Academy having served 28 years in the FBI with
specialized training in domestic terrorism, organized crime,
and undercover operations. He also served as the team leader
of an FBI S.W.A.T. Team for ten years.
During Wayne's FBI career, he spearheaded the Bureau's Undercover
Program being the first Agent to go undercover following WWII.
During these undercover assignments, Wayne penetrated the violent
factions of the New Left, posed as a "hit man" in a murder-for-hire
investigation and infiltrated the notorious criminal empire
of the New Orleans crime family after having met with the family's
Godfather, Carlos Marcello.
The
highlight in Wayne's investigative career presented itself when
he opened the case on the infamous terrorist organization known
as "The Order" and the politically affiliated "Aryan Nations."
The next five years he served as the case agent successfully
bringing forth charges against all members of "The Order." During
this five year period "The Order" engaged in assassinations,
armored car robberies, bombings and gun battles with federal
agents, including Wayne and other Manis associates. Wayne was
subsequently featured in episodes of the TV series, "FBI, The
Untold Stories," "Turning Point," produced by ABC, Discovery
Channel's "Angry America," "The FBI Files," PBS Productions
and in numerous books and newspapers regarding these exploits.
He was featured as a CNN commentator and was a CNN consultant
on the bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.
Wayne has been a speaker at numerous conferences on terrorism
throughout the United States and Canada and has been a lecturer
to the Texas, Montana, Washington and Idaho State Police; the
Utah Chiefs of Police; the Los Angeles Police Department; the
RCMP and the Canadian Prairie Chiefs Association.
